Important: Any samples remaining at the end of the night must be removed from the venue by your team.

How many team members can fit in the booth?
2–3 brand members fit comfortably, and a booth can accommodate up to 5 people at once. 2 chairs are provided at each booth.
Are there any booth restrictions?
- Do not overflow or place decor/signage into walkways
- Height restrictions apply to signage/displays
- No blocking neighboring booths
- No sharing booth space without prior approval
Anything outside your assigned space is subject to removal by event staff or venue representatives.
Can we bring additional signage?
Yes, you can bring additional signage. Please coordinate with the respective team members to ensure it's compliant with your allocated space. You are responsible for removing all additional signage and props at the end of the event.
Is electricity provided?
Yes — each booth receives at least one power outlet for standard items only.
- Outlets are 120V AC, 60 Hz (U.S. Type B)
- Supports standard items (e.g., refrigerators, coffee machines, electric heaters, power tools)
- No generators
- No open flames, heating elements, or hazardous equipment without prior approval
- Need more outlets? Bring your own multi-outlet extension cord
Is there somewhere to put my bags?
Please keep all bags and belongings at your booth. If you don't have a booth and need somewhere to leave large items, consult an SCFest team member before arriving at the venue.
Can we send additional items (decor/swag) to the warehouse?
We can usually accommodate these requests, but it depends on how much you're sending relative to your allocated space. Please connect with an SCFest team member to coordinate.
SAMPLES & CREATORS
Sampling, wristbands & the SCFest Portal
How will creators receive samples during the event?
Your brand will have a designated booth/tent — we build it and place your samples there. Your team displays and samples out to creators directly, tracked via QR code scanning.
How do we know which creators are eligible for samples?
Creators are identified by a colored wristband reflecting their GMV level, plus a badge that says "Creator."
Wristband Legend (GMV tier):
- L0–L1: Green
- L2: Blue
- L3: Red
- L4–L6: Pink
How does sample tracking and the SCFest Portal work?
Each seller receives 1 login to the SCFest Portal to track which creators received samples and collect creator contact info (including GMV level by ticket color). Up to 2 mobile devices (phones/tablets) can be logged in at once.
Getting logged in:
- Go to the portal: socialcommercefest.com
- Select Staff/Brand Login → choose SCFest Los Angeles → select Brand/Sponsor
- Enter your brand-specific login (provided by Christina Benvenuto)
- Scan each creator's unique QR code and click "Sample Given"
- After the event, click "My Creators" to view booth data; export via laptop/desktop
Suggested script: "It was so nice to meet you! Go ahead and scan this QR code to join our TAP campaign. Once you've added the product(s) to your Showcase, pull up your Creator QR code from check-in and I'll get you a sample."
Do we need to tell SCFest about our sample requirements?
Yes. Brands must notify the event team ahead of time of any participation or redemption requirements — including minimum GMV, email collection, minimum follower count, QR code scans, or content-posting requirements.
Please also provide and display your own clear signage stating all sample requirements at your booth to keep attendee flow smooth.
Do we need to send bags for distribution?
If you'd like to hand out bags/swag bags, you can — send them with your samples to the same warehouse. Note: each creator is already provided with 1 SCFest bag.
Is there a limit on how many products/samples we can bring?
Yes — the maximum is 1,000 units for SCFest. You can send multiple products and mix up SKUs and PIDs.
What do we do with leftover samples?
Be prepared to take and ship out any leftover samples at the end of the event — our team cannot accommodate returns at the Los Angeles location. We recommend sampling out of everything.
Any items left behind are considered abandoned property; by participating, brands agree ownership transfers to SCFest and items will not be eligible for retrieval, pickup, or shipment.
Are money prizes or giveaways prohibited?
No, money prizes are not prohibited.
How can we keep in touch with creators after the event?
If your brand has a Discord server or community platform, we recommend having a printed sign or QR code at your booth so creators can join right after connecting with your team.
Booth engagement tips:
- Have clear next steps for creators who engage with your brand
- Provide an easy way for creators to follow up after the event
- Display community links, QR codes, or social channels prominently
- Offer something interactive and a lucrative deal/campaign as an incentive for relationship building and content conversion
TRAVEL & LOGISTICS
Parking, hotels, food, shipping & clean-up
What is the parking situation?
Parking, transit and rideshare guidance will be shared when the venue details are published. Check official SCFest announcements before arranging transport.
Which hotels are recommended?
Hotel partners and travel guidance have not been published yet. Check official SCFest announcements before booking.
Are travel and accommodations covered?
No — participants are responsible for their own travel and stay expenses. These will not be covered by SCFest.
Is food and drink available?
Food and beverage options have not been published yet. Check the final venue guidance and plan around the confirmed options.
We discourage food deliveries during the event — delivery personnel are not permitted inside the venue. If you order food, you or a team member can meet the driver outside and bring it back to your booth.
What is the WiFi situation?
Public WiFi details are TBA. We recommend having a mobile hotspot as a backup for booth operations and sample scanning.
How does shipping work?
All shipments must be pre-approved by the event team. Packages must be clearly labeled with:
- Brand name
- Contact name & phone number
SCFest is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments.
What's the clean-up and breakdown process?
Brands are responsible for disposing of waste, leftover samples, and trash once the event wraps — please don't wait until the very end. At breakdown:
- Flatten boxes and dispose of all waste properly
- Don't leave trash, leftover samples, or display materials behind
- Return your tablecloth and box cutter to the check-in desk
Our team handles the rest of the event breakdown, and can help with empty box removal throughout the day — just flag a team member. If you run out of samples, feel free to stay and network, enjoy the event, or leave early.
PANELS
Program to be announced
What's the panel schedule?
The Los Angeles panel program, room, speakers and times have not been published yet. Check official SCFest announcements closer to the event.
